BCP-EU-FB™ is a multipurpose bioaugmentation product combining bacterial and fungal microorganisms to support degradation of complex organic wastes. The formulation is effective in breaking down cellulose, lignin, and other fibrous materials commonly found in industrial and environmental systems. BCP-EU-FB™ supports reduction of BOD and COD, suspended solids, and organic sludge accumulation, while helping prevent malodorous conditions. It is suitable for ponds, lagoons, and wastewater systems requiring broad-spectrum organic degradation.

Features & Benefits

Helps oxidize and reduce malodorous compounds
Speeds up biodegradation, even at low oxygen levels
Acts quickly because of synergistic effect of fungi, bacteria, and enzymes
Reduces sludge production
Reduces foaming
Introduces extremely active microorganisms for startup and/or repopulation of biomass in the purifying plant and to help avoid development of algae and superior organisms

Wastewater lagoons and stabilization ponds
Slurry storage and holding tanks
Aerobic and facultative wastewater treatment systems
Anaerobic and low-oxygen biological treatment processes
Digesters treating fibrous or high-solids organic waste
Industrial wastewater treatment plants with complex organic loads
Municipal wastewater treatment systems
Systems treating cellulose-, lignin-, or fiber-rich wastes
Treatment plants experiencing sludge accumulation or foaming issues
Odor-prone wastewater and waste storage environments
Startup, reseeding, or biomass recovery applications
Ponds, basins, and environmental treatment systems requiring broad-spectrum organic degradation

They provide bioaugmentation products (microbes + nutrients) that help wastewater treatment plants, industrial facilities, and grease traps degrade organic pollutants, reduce sludge, and manage odors.
Yes, but in many cases, the native microbial population can’t keep up with surges in waste, shock loads, cold temperatures, or imbalances. Supplementing with specialized microbes helps restore balance, maintain efficiency, and control odors.

Their products can target fats, oils, grease (FOG), proteins, carbohydrates, industrial wastewater, municipal sewage, sludge, and even certain chemical contaminants.

Typically they are added to secondary treatment (or other stages) as a “shock dose” to correct upsets, or as a regular maintenance dose to sustain microbial activity and reduce sludge buildup.

Yes — Bionetix offers strains that are adapted to tolerate lower temperatures, helping maintain performance during cold-weather operations.

Yes — for example, BCP12 is a blend of bacteria, enzymes, and nutrients designed for sludge digestion in anaerobic digesters; it can reduce sludge mass, improve biogas production, and control odors.
Because the products are biological (not synthetic chemicals), they are generally more acceptable in environmentally sensitive contexts. That said, compliance depends on specific discharge limits and regulatory frameworks — Bionetix can work with technical teams to develop appropriate treatment plans.
