ECP1611™ is a high-efficiency protease enzyme with keratinase activity. This specialty enzyme blend is produced by non-pathogenic bacteria and is designed for efficient hydrolysis of both general proteins and keratin-rich substrates. Protease is used in a variety of industries to break proteins into smaller molecules such as polypeptides, oligopeptides, and amino acids. Common applications include laundry and dishwashing detergents, food and feed production, pulp and paper processing, and other industrial activities. The addition of keratinase enhances the action of ECP1611™ for applications such as leather processing that encounter hair or similar substances.

What are Bionetix Additives & Concentrates?
These are biological building blocks — spore blends, biosurfactants, enzymes, nutrients, and stimulants — designed for formulators (e.g., manufacturers of cleaners, waste-treatment products) to incorporate into their own products.
How do they work?
The microorganisms and enzymes in the concentrates help break down organic contaminants, liquefy waste, and degrade odor-causing compounds.
What kinds of contamination or soils can they target?
There are specialized concentrates for different challenges: for instance, ones that digest fats/oils/hydrocarbons (e.g., petrochemical-related), or those targeting starches, proteins, and more general organic waste or odor sources.
Do I need to dilute them?
Yes — many concentrates are designed to be diluted to create a ready-to-use (RTU) product. You can also add your own fragrance, colorants, or other formulation ingredients.
What’s the cost-benefit of using these concentrates?
Because they’re concentrated and biologically active, only a small amount is needed, making them economical. They also improve cleaning or waste-degrading power, reducing reliance on harsher chemicals.
Are they safe?
Yes. Bionetix uses non-pathogenic, naturally occurring microorganisms.
Can I get technical support for formulation?
Absolutely — Bionetix offers technical expertise to help develop custom formulations using their concentrates.
